Adam King - Lead Pastor

Hey friends! I have been in ministry for 11 years, and have served as both a Student and Next Gen Pastor. One of the highlights for me was seeing students experience the freedom that Jesus gives, and found great joy in walking alongside them as they navigated some of the most interesting years of their lives. This was the long-term plan for me, but a few years ago God began to do a work in my heart that led to a passion for planting something that reflected the early church of Acts 2.

I married my beautiful wife Jade in 2011, and have 2 daughters, Lennon (7) and Everly (6). Music is a huge part of family life, as well as anything Disney. I was raised on basketball, and developed a deep love for the Tar Heels as a young kid. I am also a bit of a coffee snob, and would love to talk shop with you whenever you have some time. We love meeting new families, as well as spending time with close friends, especially over a home-cooked meal.

We are looking forward to meeting you and hearing your story!

Margo Gregory - FC Kids Coordinator

Howdy y’all! I’ve been serving in Children and Student Ministries since High School, and God called me into Vocational Ministry in 2018 as a Junior in High School. I graduated in May 2023 from Liberty University with a major in Youth Ministries: Women’s Leadership, and minors in Biblical Studies and Theology. I’m an Apex native and a graduate from Olive Chapel Elementary, the same school we gather in each Sunday!

Some things I love include playing bass guitar, summer camp (I was a camp staffer for 3 summers!), reading good books, hiking, the Princess Diaries movies, and going to concerts. I’m also a born and bred Tar Heel fan and get very excited about college basketball in March.

I’m super passionate about kids and students embracing the truth of God’s Word, experiencing the joy found in trusting Jesus as their Savior, and engaging in the community of the church! I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

I am originally from Pennsylvania. My wife Cindy and I have three grown children and seven grandchildren. A passion of mine are the people of Kenya. I have been there on short term missions 24 times since 2009. While relaxing, I enjoy watching college football, especially my alma mater, Penn State. I also enjoy vacationing with my family at DisneyWorld and many other places.

My desire is to grow in the Lord so that I can be a better shepherd elder at Family Chuch.
